Solid Waste
Each municipality in Hinds County contracts with local or regional waste disposal companies which deliver non-hazardous solid waste to regional landfills. Residential and commercial pickup schedules are determined by each company and city, typically a two day per week process.
Commercial accounts are separately contracted with disposal companies on an individual basis with each business.
